Christina Na-Heon Cho

Director

Christina is an Associate of Cox Architecture in our Brisbane office.

Christina studied architecture at the University of California in Berkely and at the University of Queensland, graduating as university Valedictorian with first class honours. She was awarded a 2011 Dulux Study Tour – Emerging Architect Travelling Scholarship – participating in think tanks across Europe. Her expertise includes being an Accredited Green Star Professional and LEED Design Professional in environmental sustainability.

Christina’s recognition in the Australian architectural profession is reflected in her selection as one of twenty architects selected from across the country on an upcoming book on Australian women architects.

For the practice, Christina has been the Project Architect for the Ipswich Government Office Tower in Queensland, and the Kings Square commercial urban renewal development in Perth. This project also includes a mixed retail, childcare and wellbeing centre.

Christina has collaborated with designers in Seoul, Boston and London on public art installations, one being the winning entry in a global competition for Tokyo Designers Week. This work enriches her interest and ability in creating interactive public spaces. She is co-organiser of the PechaKucha program in Brisbane, a committee member of FutureNet, and Past Chair of Young Architects Queensland.
