Chris joined Cox Architecture in 2000. He initially assisted with the delivery of the Kingston Foreshore Master Plan, and then in 2001, Chris was instrumental in the office in winning a tender for the Section 84 City Master Plan for QIC Real Estate. The office was subsequently commissioned for the majority of the building projects within the Section 84 Precinct. As Project Architect, Chris led the design and documentation of these significant city projects – valued at over $500M. He continues to have overall responsibility for on-going work within Section 84 including the final stage – a $300M mixed-use currently in progress.
Chris provides design direction within the Canberra Studio including the current various works at the ambitious Willinga Park Equine Facilities. Chris contributes to urban design and has participated in the design and delivery of several Master Plans such as Perisher Village, Kingston Foreshore, Woden West, Stromlo Forest Park, Section 84 and Casey Group Centre.
Chris was appointed a director of Cox Architecture in 2008 and was made National Chair of Cox Architecture in 2011. Chris continues to play a leading role in the practice and is currently involved in several significant projects both locally and overseas.
